Nvixeon is Live: Custom STM32 Boards Now Available Worldwide

Nvixeon is officially open — custom STM32F4, H7, and N6 development boards designed from scratch in Altium Designer, hand-assembled, and shipped worldwide from Ghana. Here is what we build, who we build it for, and why.

Nvixeon is now open for orders.

If you have been following the development of this project, you already know what we are building and why. If you are new here — welcome. This post is the short version.

What Nvixeon Is

Nvixeon is a hardware engineering company based in Takoradi, Ghana. We design and build custom STM32 development boards — original designs, not clones — and ship them to engineers and makers anywhere in the world.

Every board is designed from scratch in Altium Designer. Every board is hand-assembled. Every board is individually tested before it ships. You receive a board that works on day one, with a pinout diagram, a schematic, and example firmware.

The Boards

We are launching with four board families:

NVX-F4 Series — from $22
STM32F4CEU6. Cortex-M4 at 168MHz. Four variants from a clean bare breakout to a full-featured board with QSPI flash, EEPROM, RTC, and microSD. For learners, makers, and anyone who needs a reliable F4 platform without the price tag of an official eval kit.

NVX-H7 Compact — from $48
STM32H745. Dual-core: Cortex-M7 at 480MHz running alongside Cortex-M4 at 240MHz. Optional Ethernet, PSRAM, and OctoSPI flash. For motor control, industrial IoT, and any application that needs real-time performance and connectivity simultaneously.

NVX-H7 Pro — from $75
STM32H745BIT6. The same dual-core power, with every pin of the TFBGA240 package broken out to 2.54mm headers. All six SPI interfaces, four I2C buses, dual FDCAN, SDMMC, DCMI camera, LTDC display — all accessible simultaneously. For engineers who need everything.

NVX-N6 Vision — from $95
STM32N6. Cortex-M55 at 800MHz plus a hardware NPU delivering 600 GOPS at INT8. Run YOLOv8n object detection at 25 frames per second on a microcontroller, on battery, with CPU headroom to spare. MIPI-DSI display output, DCMI and CSI2 camera input, LPDDR4 memory support. Our flagship.

Why We Started

The honest answer: we could not find what we needed at a price that made sense.

Evaluation boards from ST are expensive and locked to fixed configurations. Generic clone boards from overseas are poorly documented and inconsistently assembled. The gap between “I want to prototype seriously with STM32” and “I can actually afford to do that” is larger than it should be, especially if you are working in Africa.

Nvixeon builds the boards we wanted to find. Proper Altium designs. Proper testing. Proper documentation. Accessible prices. Shipped anywhere.

What Is Coming

The boards are the start. We are also building:

Display modules — SPI, RGB, and MIPI-DSI screen boards with connectors that mate directly to our board headers

Custom board design service — you specify, we design and deliver the Altium files

Enclosure design with FEA simulation — structurally validated 3D printed housings for your electronics

3D printing service — enclosures, brackets, and custom mechanical parts

Follow Along

We will be posting firmware tutorials, hardware design guides, and project showcases on this blog regularly. If you work with STM32 — whether you are new to embedded or a seasoned engineer — there will be something here for you.
